Katyushas land in Tiberias

Old Blog

Well, there goes my appetite.

Just about to sit down for a relaxing lunch and “Katyusha lands in Tiberias” comes up on the television. The strange detachment I’ve had over the last few days has finally withered away. Yesterday Haifa, Tsfat, Meron, Carmiel.. today Tiberias. Tomorrow Tel Aviv? Do they really have that capability? The news is now reporting that the “drone” that hit the Israeli Navy ship off the coast of Lebanon, was not actually a drone, but a missile. A C-802 of Iranian origin. I was watching the news earlier today on mute as I cleaned the kitchen. The headline read “Missile that struck Navy ship came from Iran.” My stomach dropped. I put the volume up and quickly realized that what they meant was that the missile was Iranian origin, not launched from Iran. Idiot.

I began writing this entry in the early afternoon and it’s now about 6:30 p.m. Heard a report on Channel 10 that the missiles landing in Tiberias may not be Katyushas.
