Home for Purim

I wrote about how excited I was about Christoper Guest’s new movie “For Your Consideration” over a year ago. The film is about a group of not so good actors who are tipped for a possible Academy award nomination for their roles in the indie flick “Home for Purim.” I’m happy to say the trailer is up and although it isn’t a mockumentary like Guest’s previous films, it definitely has the same uncomfortable aestethic. Good line brilliantly delivered by Ricky Ricky Gervais and was that Parker Posey wearing an Esther costume? Oh, and for a brief moment there are both hamantaschen and graggers. Enjoy.

Whenever I think of Purim, I can’t help but think of my friend Chris who used to run up to me in college and scream “Haman! Haman! Boo! Hiss!” for no apparent reason.
